RNDr. Aleš Farda, Ph.D. je vedúci Oddelenia klimatického modelovania v Ústave výskumu globálnej zmeny AV ČR, v. v. i. kde pôsobí ako vedecký pracovník od roku 2010. Profesijne sa zameriava na klimatické modelovanie a aplikovanú klimatológiu. V rokoch 2003-2015 pracoval ako klimatológ v Českom hydrometeorologickom ústave.
Doktoráty (Ph.D., a RNDr.) v odbore meteorológia a ochrana prostredia získal na Matematicko-fyzikálnej fakulte Karlovej Univerzity v Prahe.
Absolvoval trojmesačný výskumný pobyt v CNRM/Météo-France, v Toulouse (Franczúzsko) a mesačný pobyt v Hungarian Meteorological Service v Budapešti.
Je členom Českej meteorologickej spoločnosti.
RNDr. Aleš Farda, Ph.D. is the Head of Department of Climate Modelling at the Global Change Research Institute CAS, where he has been a researcher since 2010. Professionally is focused on climate modeling and applied climatology. In the years 2003-2015 he worked as a climatologist at the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute.
He graduated doctorates (Ph.D., and RNDr.) in the field of meteorology and environment protection at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles Univerzity in Prague.
He completed a three-month research stay in CNRM / Météo-France, Toulouse (France) and a one-month stay in the Hungarian Meteorological Service in Budapest.
He is a member of the Czech Meteorological Society.
